Garrett Epperson, LCSW

As a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) dedicated to the field of psychotherapy, I offer client-centered, honest, and empathetic services to individuals facing various mental health challenges. My practice is founded on the bedrock of trust, recognizing that trust is the cornerstone that allows clients to open up about the core issues they grapple with. I commit to investing the time necessary to build this trust, understanding that it’s an essential component of the therapeutic process.

In my perspective, the therapeutic relationship is a collaborative journey, with my clients as active participants. Together, we embark on a unique path towards self-enhancement, wellness, and the achievement of personal goals. My primary goal is to empower you to overcome your obstacles with a compassionate and respectful approach, all within the safe space that we create together, fostering self-awareness and driving positive change.

Maya Angelou once wisely said, “History, despite its wrenching pain, cannot be unlived, but if faced with courage, need not be lived again.” Embarking on a therapeutic journey takes courage, but gaining insight is the key to transformation. I invite you to take the first step toward change by reaching out for a free consultation.

My professional strengths encompass the ability to build rapport and create safe, secure therapeutic alliances, not only on an individual level but also in group environments. I excel in effective communication with clients and collaborative efforts with treatment teams and support systems. I meet clients where they are, employing person-in-environment and strength-based approaches, always upholding a non-judgmental worldview.

Feel free to connect with me to begin your journey towards personal growth and emotional well-being.

Terry Lee

About:

I was born and raised in Montana and lived here until joining the U.S. Air
Force in 1997. I was lucky to have worked in multiple overseas locations
while serving. After moving back to the U.S. I became addicted to
Methamphetamine. I was a functioning addict for many years until my
substance abuse caught up with me. At the end of my addiction, I was
homeless, in jail, and my 2 boys were in foster care. Since that time, I
gained back custody of my kids, earned my degree in addictions
counseling, and I am now working towards my masters.
No Nonsense Addictions Counseling
Recovery from addiction takes work. Long term sobriety does not
happen quickly. We must change, grow, and become better versions of
ourselves. Progress is the goal.

My Style of Counseling:

Although addiction is serious, recovery counseling doesn’t have to be.
Expect lots of jokes and laughter. I will sometimes swear or be weird, but
only when it is appropriate. Do not expect our conversations to be
depressing, somber, or boring. Addiction sucks, addictions counseling
won’t be. I want our time together to be something you look forward to.

Areas of Expertise:

I have experience in both inpatient and outpatient clinics. I have worked
with clients engaged in medication assisted programs (MAT) such as
Suboxone, Methadone, and Naltrexone. I teach a monthly DUI ACT
class called Primed for Life. I have worked with adolescents at
foster/group homes in the area as well.
